Warren is a local artist who has had a diverse career, having been an art college student, an actor, self employed haulier and an estate agent selling property here and overseas. He is now a construction site manager. He and his Stoke born wife Lynn emigrated to Queensland Australia in the nineties before returning to live in Stone in 2002.
Warren began cartooning almost by chance when Lynn suggested he paint a picture with a Stoke City theme. He came up with Two Happy Potters and suddenly the Potterdom range of cartoons was born, cartoons which are based mainly on Potter puns with a strong Stoke City Football Club flavour.
As well as the Potterdom range of cartoons he is also working on three new themes entitled Peddle Power, Snap Shots and Man’s Best Friend. He says, Cartooning has opened up a whole new world for me: the process is fun and people really seem to like them.
Warrens Potterdom range of Stoke-City insprired Cartoons are avaliable at Gallery on the Square in Prints, Keyrings, Coasters and Cards. Please visit us to see the full range.
